DMA Music Camp: Music Around The World

The theme for this year's camp is Music Around The World! Everyday we'll visit a different part of the world and learn about the music and culture there. Don't miss out on this great experience for children who have completed Kindergarten-5th grade. There are multiple instrument tracks and levels of instruction to choose from.

MORNING Session (8:30-12:00)
Summer 2015 Cost: $100 before May 1; $125 after May 1
Family Discount: $10 for each additional child ($20 discount: 3rd child, $30 discount: 4th child)

All campers will participate in a recital at the end of the week
on Friday, June 26, 4:00 p.m. A fellowship meal will follow the recital.

ALL-DAY Session (8:30-4:30)
Summer 2014 Cost: $200 before May 1; $225 after May 1
Family Discount: $10 for each additional child ($20 discount: 3rd child, $30 discount: 4th child)

Instrumental instruction for voice, strings (violin, viola, and cello), piano, harp (class size very limited) and guitar
Introductory, beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Instruments are not provided for intro guitar classes. Instruments are provided for intro violin (first 10 morning students and first 10 afternoon students), intro viola, intro cello, intro harp (class size very limited) and intro piano. If you register for intro violin, viola or cello, you will be contacted in May with more information about getting sized for your instrument.
Intermediate and advanced students will participate in chamber orchestra, choral groups, piano/keyboard or guitar ensembles.
Sectional rehearsals, master classes, and technique classes for intermediate and advanced students. Fun, age-appropriate music history for intro/beginner students.
Theory classes for all ability levels. Composition classes for intermediate/advanced levels.
