DSM Guys Retreat

Guys Retreat is March 3-4, 2023, at Camp Dawson.

This weekend we will take a deep look into the heart of Christ as he describes himself as “Gentle and Lowly” in Matthew 11:29. As men, we often look at Jesus’ one off moments like flipping the temple tables and weave that image into today’s masculine stereotypes. This picture of biblical manhood is simply not accurate. What we often forget is that the day to day moments in Christ’s life were filled with humility and service for the weak and poor. Join us as we look at the depths of the heart of Jesus.

This event is open to all 6th-12th grade guys and their dads. Dads are invited but not required to attend. We have some guys coming with dads and some coming alone/with friends. We cannot provide transportation to Camp Dawson Friday night, but please feel free to carpool with one another.

We will begin Friday evening at 4:00 p.m. at Camp Dawson and camp overnight in tents (please bring a tent). On Saturday, we will have worship and enjoy all things Camp Dawson. The event will wrap up at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the schedule, packing list, and meals provided.

Cost is $30 per attendee. If you cannot come on Friday night, you are still welcome to come join us on Saturday. Registration closes on February 26.
