Osteoporosis

More than 50% of women over the age of 45 are affected by osteoporosis. More than 25,00 hip fractures result from osteoporosis each year. You can do something about this health issue.

Speaker: Dr. Sara Morgan, Director of UAB Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment Clinic and the UAB Bone Densitometry (DXA) Service

About the Speaker: Dr. Morgan is currently a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology. She also has received degrees in food, nutrition, and diabetics.

This program is free. A sack lunch will be provided for those who register no later than Wednesday, August 22.
