Avery, a native of Albany, Georgia, moved to Birmingham to attend college at Samford University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry. She served as a College BETA intern for 3 years before joining the staff in 2024 as the Associate Minister to College Students. She is currently pursuing her Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has a desire to see college students experience the beauty and depth of God’s Word in this unique season of life. Avery enjoys good movies, an Ole Miss football game, and traveling to new places even if it’s just a new coffee shop!
