Jim Henry was born and raised in Cookeville, Tennessee and has lived in Alabama for the past 47 years. Jim and his wife Marilyn have been members of Dawson Family of Faith since 1973. Growing up he was a Cub Scout and then a Boy Scout in Troop 108, where his father was Scoutmaster. During high school and college Jim work on staff at the Middle Tennessee Council’s Boxwell Boy Scout Reservation near Lebanon, TN.  He has always had a passion for outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking and cycling. Jim has been the Scoutmaster of Troop 83 for the past 11+ years.
