As Music & Worship Pastor for the Dawson Family of Faith, John Woods serves alongside a remarkable team of minster-musicians, together providing leadership in a variety of areas including music, worship, the arts, and liturgy. He is passionate about the marriage of the timeless and timely, providing the congregation with an authentic, unifying voice in worship. John attended Baylor University and received a Bachelor of Music in Church Music, later receiving a Master of Music in Church Music with an emphasis in choral conducting from Baylor University and a Master of Divinity in Theology from George W. Truett Theological Seminary. When there’s time, John likes searching for hole-in-the-wall restaurants with his wife Lindsay and children Hudson, Emma, and Mason.
