Kimberly Jones serves as the Director of Dawson Music Academy, a ministry of the Dawson Family of Faith. Kimberly enjoys helping people discover a passion for music. She believes musical talents are an amazing gift from the Lord. She is passionate about helping students of all ages and backgrounds experience the joy of music and use their gifts to worship God. Prior to serving in her current role, she taught piano and voice with the Dawson Music Academy. She also taught in Homewood City Schools for 14 years. Kimberly has developed her lifelong passion for music through formal training in the areas of voice, piano, and flute. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Church Music with an emphasis in vocal performance from Samford University. She later received a Master of Education in Secondary Education and a Master in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kimberly is married to Greg and has one son, Garrett.
