The Life Of David: You Are The Man!
This week, Pastor David continued the sermon series on The Life Of David with a look at confession, repentance and forgiveness.

- Have you ever wished you had an edit button in your life? What would you like to "rewrite" from your life with no questions asked?
- When we minimize our sins, we minimize God’s holiness, and we minimize the price Jesus paid for our sins on the cross (2 Corinthians 5:21). What sin do you need to acknowledge before God? How will you change your schedule this week to make more time for confession and repentance?
- Pastor David shared that we have a “Gospel cameo” as David asked God to forgive his sin (read Psalm 51:1-2; 7-9). He cries out for someone to blot out all his guilt. Jesus is the One who came as the true Passover Lamb to cleanse our sins and create a new heart in us. How would you describe this “Gospel cameo”?
- Jesus took the penalty of our sins on Himself absorbing it on the cross. The cross is God’s promise to us that there is no sin so heinous, no heart so wicked that that He cannot cleanse it. In what specific ways will you celebrate what Jesus has done for you during this Advent season?
