Unhindered
Acts 28
This week, Pastor David taught a message on Paul's journey at the end of Acts. In the message, he explains why:
• The Gospel Cannot Be Stopped
GOING DEEPER:
-
While not under the same circumstances as the Apostle Paul, when have you seen God’s power on full display? Describe.
-
Even under house arrest, Paul continued to live out his calling and tell the story of Jesus. We do not get all the details we may want in the last chapter of Acts, but the book isn’t first and foremost about Paul. This book is about the unstoppable spread of the Gospel. What amazes you about the details Luke does include us in this chapter? How have you learned that nothing is more powerful than God and His power and purposes?
-
Pastor David shared that the Gospel is the single most powerful and vital forces on the face of the earth. The Gospel is alive, always finds a way, and breaks through all barriers that this world or Satan throws at it. This Holy Spirit is continually moving. How do you give witness (in both word and deed) to the power and truth of the Gospel in your telling, giving, and going?
-
Pastor David shared that Luke doesn’t “stick the landing” at the end of Acts 28 because we are living in Acts 29! The story of Jesus is still going in and around and through us. Is Jesus your story and your song? Who do you need to tell about Jesus this week?
