This week, Pastor David taught a message from Acts 22 on Paul's defense. In the message, he explains:

GOING DEEPER:

Pastor David described that we might be tempted to think that an unbeliever is the enemy or the problem. Sometimes, we may forget how much we have in common with people with different faiths, or with no faith at all. This week, how can you build a bridge with someone in your life that you want to share the Gospel with? What do you have in common?
In Acts 22, Paul is presenting his defense to an angry mob. Paul chooses to speak with them on a personal level, breaking down the walls they have built against him. Many times we may allow religious beliefs, attitude, reputation, or political views to completely define a person. Pastor David urged us to look deeper. In the past, have you built a wall against someone that you did not agree with? How would you do things differently today?

In Acts 22:6, Paul begins to use the bridge that he built to share his story. The Gospel intersected Paul's life and changed it in a drastic way. The same is true with every believer. How has God changed your life? How did God show up in your life during difficult times?

Pastor David challenged us to set aside time this week to sit down and write our testimony. Each of our stories are unique, just like Paul's. Are you prepared to share your story of how God awakened you from the slumber of your unbelief?
