SERVE AT KIDLIFE 2022
We are so excited to offer KidLife, Dawson’s version of VBS, on campus June 6–9. Our theme for this year is “SPLASH!” and we will need hundreds of volunteers to guide preschoolers and children on a journey to discover more about God and grow to become more like His Son, Jesus. COLORADO MISSION TRIP
Dawson’s Recreation Ministry will be taking a team to Mead CO, from July 9–16 to help support a Go Love Tell 2021–2025 partner church, Grandview Church. The church was planted in 2017 and has put on a sports camp for 4yr olds–5th grade for four years. This is a massive outreach to the community. COVID has taken its toll on this faith family, as it has in many areas. So, we are going to help and support. This week there are many ways you can serve, you could be a specific sports instructor, a huddle coach (Bible study) and rally/worship leader.

DSM GUYS' RETREAT
Friday, March 11, 5:00 p.m.-Saturday, March 12
Our Guys’ Retreat is at Camp Dawson. Our theme this weekend is LEGACY, rooted in Paul’s second letter to Timothy. This event is open to all 6th-12th grade guys and their dads. We will begin Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. at Camp Dawson and camp overnight in tents. On Saturday, we will have sessions, worship, and enjoy all things Camp Dawson. Saturday afternoon, we will leave to play paintball (low-impact) together at Central Alabama Paintball Park before returning to Dawson by 5:00 p.m. The cost is $30 (plus $30 add-on for paintball) and includes all meals and two hours of paintball. DSM GIRLS' RETREAT
Friday, March 11, 5:00 p.m.-Saturday, March 12
For GIRLS' Retreat 2022, we are headed to Camp Cosby in Alpine, AL. Students in grades 6-12 will return to Dawson by 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Our theme this weekend is RESTORED based on 2 Corinthians 5:17. Throughout the weekend we'll roast s'mores, make crafts, enjoy outdoor camp activities (canoeing, archery, high ropes course, and an alpine slide), and more. Spots are limited! The cost is $120 and includes transportation, four meals, a fun girl gift, lakefront and camp activities, and an overnight stay. Registration will close at midnight on Sunday, March 6.
