And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Together in Missions
The World Games 2022 will be in Birmingham July 7–17. The games will bring an estimate of over 500,000 visitors to the Birmingham area. While there will be many ways that we can serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus during this week, Dawson will be partnering with Baba Java coffee. Baba Java is a local coffee roaster and coffee shop in Hoover, AL. They are also the official coffee sponsors of World Games 2022. Through serving coffee at the World Games, we will have the opportunity to welcome guests and reflect the love of Christ. If you are interested in serving or have any questions, please contact Kasey Hagen at khagen@dawsonchurch.org or Josh Parvin at joshua@babajavacoffee.com.
Dawson’s Recreation Ministry will be taking a team to Mead, Colorado, from July 9–16 to help support Grandview Church, a Go Love Tell partner. The church was planted in 2017 and hosts a sports camp for 4-year-olds through 5th graders. This is a massive outreach to their community. We need sports instructors, huddle coaches (Bible study), and rally/worship leaders. The cost is $750.

KidLife, Dawson’s version of VBS, is Dawson’s largest church-wide outreach. We expect more than 1000 preschoolers and children to come to our campus each day from June 6–9. Hundreds of volunteers will guide these children through Bible study, music, worship, crafts, games, snacks, fun activities, and more! Online registration for KidLife is now open for children age 4 by September 1, 2022 through 5th grade completed. Please register your children and invite friends. Online registration closes on May 30. Visit dawsonchurch.org/KidLife and register today!
