FEEDING BIRMINGHAM'S HOMELESS 3rd Tuesday of each Month

Six volunteers are needed each month to prepare and serve lunch at the Fire House, 626 Second Avenue North. This lunch serves 100-120 of Birmingham's homeless men and women. Volunteers serve the third Tuesday of each month from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Dawson provides the lunch ingredients, and volunteers provide the love and labor to prepare (easy stir and bake dishes) and serve these men and women. Prayerfully consider participating in this "in your own city" mission endeavor.

SUNDAY MORNING DRIVERS NEEDED

Did you know that "the wheels on the (mini) bus go round and round all around the town" every single Sunday morning? Dawson welcomes adults with special needs from group homes to attend Worship and Life Group each week. It is a weekly highlight for both class participants and for Dawson's volunteers. If you would be interested in learning more about this opportunity to serve on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis, please contact us.

MIDWEEK ADULT BIBLE STUDY Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m., Social Hall

Please join us for the Summer Adult Bible Study, Living With Assurance. This seven-week study, led by Tommy Sanders, is on the Epistles of John and focuses on how a person's understanding of Jesus impacts their daily lives in practical ways. John wrote to combat false doctrines about the identity of Jesus and how His identity impacted a believer's everyday life. As a believer, we can have the assurance of eternal life by living in the light of our relationship with Jesus. Lunch is available ($5) immediately after in the Fellowship Hall.
