DAWSON'S SAFETY TEAM AND FIRST AID TEAM

Dawson is blessed to have a team of individuals dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for our church members and guests. The Dawson Safety Team faithfully serves every Sunday by being present during our worship services as well as monitoring activity across our campus. You will likely notice them roaming the nursery, children's area, Life Group hallways and parking lots. The Safety Team also works tirelessly behind the scenes at special events such as Candlelight and KidLife.

Dawson also has a First Aid Team comprised of church members who are professionals in the healthcare industry. This team responds to basic first aid situations as well as medical emergencies. Together, Dawson's Safety Team and First Aid Team are prepared to assist in emergencies such as medical, fire, power outage, missing child, or natural disaster.

An effective church Safety Team requires a ministry mindset committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment while also building a culture of awareness. At Dawson, we are grateful to these individuals for the humility and servant's heart they represent. If and when you see them, be thankful for the support and attention they bring to keeping the Dawson Family of Faith safe.

FEEDING BIRMINGHAM'S HOMELESS 3rd Tuesday of each Month

Six volunteers are needed each month to prepare and serve lunch at the Fire House, 626 Second Avenue North. This lunch serves 100-120 of Birmingham's homeless men and women. Volunteers serve the third Tuesday of each month from 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Dawson provides the lunch ingredients, and volunteers provide the love and labor to prepare (easy stir and bake dishes) and serve these men and women. Prayerfully consider participating in this "in your own city" mission endeavor.

Life Groups are for all age groups and stages of life, and they meet every Sunday morning at 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 a.m. Stop by the Next Steps area and let us help you discover the group that is best for you.
