During the last week of July, our Hispanic Congregation will head off-campus to take Lifeway's "Spark Studios" to Hispanic children and youth in different locations around Birmingham. Children will learn to live out this year's motto: Created in Christ. Designed for God's Purpose. Please be in prayer for the children, parents, and volunteers who will be participating in these exciting summer night events.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR CHILDREN
This month we are collecting back-to-school supplies for students in Coy, Alabama, our adopted community in the Black Belt region of South Alabama. The items requested include markers, colored pencils, loose leaf paper, 3 ring binders, spiral notebooks, folders, glue sticks, pens, pencils, crayons, book covers, pencil pouches, erasers, scissors, index cards, and rulers. These items are greatly needed and appreciated. Collection tubs are located at the Church Office and the Welcome Desk in the Arendall Building. Please make your donations by Sunday, July 31. LIFE GROUP TEACHERS PREPARE FOR NEW YEAR
Sunday, August 7, 4:00 p.m.
Life Group teachers and leaders of all age groups will meet for a time of training that will encompass vision casting, skill development, prayer, curriculum review, and organization preparation. DSM BACK-TO-SCHOOL RETREAT
Friday–Sunday, August 19–21, Odenville, AL
For BACK TO SCHOOL Retreat 2022, we are headed to Springville Camp and Conference Center in Odenville, AL, on August 19–21. Check-in is on August 19 at 5:00 p.m. at Dawson with a late bus check-in at 10:00 p.m. that night. Also, parents may drop students off Saturday morning in Springville at 8:30 a.m. We will return to Dawson by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21. Get away for the weekend and be filled with God's truth, grow in community, and prepare your hearts for the busyness of the school year ahead. The retreat is $150 (nonrefundable) and includes five meals, t-shirt, transportation, lakefront activities, and two overnight stays. Registration will close at midnight on Sunday, August 14.
