Together at Dawson

Dawson Student Ministry's Mother/Daughter Retreat 2023 is on Friday evening, February 24 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in host homes around Birmingham and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25 at Dawson. The theme is Gospel Unity based on Ephesians 4:1–3. The retreat is $30 per person and includes three meals, coffee bar, speakers, Sons donuts in the afternoon, small gift, crafts, and more. Please register both mom and daughter, separately (you will see selections for both on registration). For BREAKAWAY 2023, we are headed to Asheville, North Carolina for Student Life Camp from July 10–14, 2023. At camp, we will unpack one of the world's greatest mysteries, the Holy Trinity and will learn the identity of God through the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. The cost is $400 and includes transportation, a meal plan for the week, a 4-night stay at the University of North Carolina-Asheville, t-shirt, camp costs, and more.

A $150 non-refundable deposit is due at registration. Final payment is due May 1. This weekend we will take a deep look into the heart of Jesus and the picture of biblical manhood. This event is open to all 6th-12th grade guys and their dads. Dads are invited but not required to attend. We will begin Friday evening at 4:00 p.m. at Camp Dawson and camp overnight in tents (please bring a tent). On Saturday, we will have worship and enjoy all things Camp Dawson. The event will wrap up at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the schedule, packing list, and meals provided. The cost is $30 per attendee. Dawson Preschool Ministry invites preschoolers and their families to join us for a Lego-themed Block Party. We will begin in the Sanctuary for family worship with the Chapel Choir Puppet Team, then move to the FRC for fellowship, games, inflatables, and a popcorn bar. Reservations are not required for this free event. Invite your friends to join you!
