- God Helps Those Who Help Themselves
- God Won’t Put More On You Than You Can Bear
- When God Shuts A Door, He Opens A Window
- Christians Shouldn’t Judge
- Everything Happens For A Reason
-

Church family, please help us accommodate our guests and those who need close-proximity parking when coming to Dawson each week. As we gather for church on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, would you please park in our Parking Building that is directly across from our Sanctuary on Oxmoor Road where there is ample parking for everyone? Parking there will leave the spaces that are closer to our church buildings available for guests who are navigating their way around our campus and for our senior adults who may have mobility concerns. Additionally, we ask that you please take note of the areas that are specifically designated for guests, handicapped spaces, senior adults, and our Hearts and Hands Families. These areas are clearly marked with signage.
Another way to be a good neighbor to those who live around the church is to avoid parking along curbs on streets adjacent to the church. We greatly appreciate your help.

This year, Dawson is hosting Lifeline’s Annual R(un) for One 5K and Fun Run. The R(un) for One 5K supports Lifeline Children’s Services (un)adopted ministry. Through (un)adopted, Lifeline’s international orphan care ministry, vulnerable children are receiving love and care, enrolling in schools, learning life skills, and hearing the hope of the Gospel for the 140 million orphans worldwide. Make plans to join us and support a wonderful ministry and partner in spreading the Gospel. For registration and more information, visit runforone5k.org.

At Dawson, we believe church membership matters. That’s why we have created a new opportunity for all new members and guests called Membership Matters. This two-hour class provides a chance for us to share the heart of who Dawson is. We will take a close look at our vision & mission statements, our Doctrinal Foundation, and ongoing discipleship and mission opportunities available for all members to become involved. The next Membership Matters class is Sunday, September 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please register HERE. Reservations are required and lunch will be served.
