For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience..

Together in Giving & Serving
KidLife, Dawson’s version of VBS, will be held on campus June 3–6. Our theme this year is “Pass the Torch,” and we will need hundreds of volunteers to join our Summer Olympics Team to teach preschoolers and children to let their lights shine as they Love Jesus, Believe the Bible, Serve others, and Share the good news about Jesus. First time to volunteer? New volunteers are placed with veteran KidLife teachers. Classes rotate through various activities throughout the morning, and all training, curriculum, and supplies will be provided for you. Adults and students can learn more about KidLife and sign up to serve at dawsonchurch.org/KidLife.

Together in Missions
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions is the primary way that Southern Baptists work together to impact our country. Our U.S. mission force faces the challenge of taking the Gospel to 371 million people where spiritual and cultural divides are deep and growing. This offering supports the planting of Gospel preaching churches across our country and sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Please consider supporting North American missions through this offering.

Preschoolers and their families are invited to a superhero-themed evening of worship and fellowship. We’ll begin in the Chapel at 5:00 p.m. Once children have decorated and put on their superhero costumes (provided), we’ll enjoy a time of family worship and then move outside for fun activities including an obstacle course, inflatables, crafts, and snow cones. Each family will receive a “Family Faith Talk” kit before leaving so everyone can continue to learn at home how to be kind helpers like God’s Son, Jesus.

Dawson will celebrate our 100-year anniversary in April 2025. As part of the celebration, we are collecting testimonies and stories of how God has been at work through Dawson and the impact it’s made in our lives. If you have a particular story or memory that comes to mind, no matter how large or small, please consider sharing it with us. We are looking for stories that celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness at Dawson, but any memory of an experience at Dawson is welcome. Please send your “My Dawson Memory” stories to Shannon Lindsay at slindsay@dawsonchurch.org. Additionally, we are accepting digital audio recordings of your stories which can also be sent via email.
