What's Happening
SUMMER MUSIC CAMP MINISTRY WEEK
During the week of July 8–12, over 250 children will join together for Dawson Music Academy’s annual Summer Music Camp. Through worship rallies, musical explorations, team games, and much more, preschoolers and children will use their musical talents to praise the Lord. Please pray for the adult and student leaders that God will use to minister to campers in powerful ways. Also, pray for music campers to learn that they can be BRAVE & MIGHTY in the Lord. Our Scripture focus is Joshua 1:9: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

At Dawson, we believe church membership matters. Our Membership Matters Class is offered for all guests and new members. This two-hour class provides a chance for us to share the heart of Dawson. We will look closely at our vision & mission statements, our Doctrinal Foundation, and ongoing discipleship and mission opportunities. The next class will be held on Sunday, July 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please register at dawsonchurch.org/membershipmatters. Reservations are required and lunch will be provided. Fostering Faithfully

Whether you're a seasoned foster parent or just beginning your fostering journey, Fostering Faithfully is a support group that provides foster parents the opportunity to walk alongside each other offering support, sharing resources, and building a community within our church. Our focus will be to equip foster parents with practical strategies for managing the unique needs of children in our homes, seek biblical wisdom and guidance in navigating the complexities of foster care, and encourage and uplift one another through the challenges and triumphs of fostering. Together, let’s lean on God’s grace and support one another as we strive to foster faithfully.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR COY, AL
School supplies are being collected for students in Coy, Alabama, our adopted community in the Black Belt region of South Alabama. Some items that are needed include loose leaf paper, folders, pens, pencils, markers, colored pencils, crayons, pencil pouches, pencil sharpeners, and rulers. Collection tubs are located at the Church Office and the Welcome Desk in the Arendall Building. Please make your donations by Sunday, July 21. Mexican Fiesta Fellowship

Summer Auxano In July
Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m., Chapel
AUXANO is our weeknight worship service for college students and young adults (18-29 year olds). It meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel on Dawson’s campus. We gather together every week to worship God through song, prayer, and God’s Word. AUXANO will meet three more times this summer: July 16, July 23, and July 30.

Celebrators Conference 2024 in Pigeon Forge, TN has a wonderful lineup of speakers and entertainers this year: Dr. David Jeremiah, Phil Waldrep, Tim and Demi-Leigh Tebow, the Gaither Vocal Band, Natalie Grant, and others. Dates are October 14–17, 2024, and the cost is $625. Pick up a packet with more detailed information at the Church Office. A $25 nonrefundable deposit is due when making your reservation.

Elouise Adele Willcutt, daughter of Mary Kate and Hayden Willcutt, will participate with her family in dedication this Sunday during the 8:30 a.m. worship service. She joins her sisters, Ellis and Everleigh. Elouise was born on February 4, 2024. Her grandparents are Lori and Paul Tittle of Mount Olive and Teresa and Keith Willcutt of Mount Olive.
Rowan George Bullington, son of Anna and Michael Bullington, will participate with his family in dedication this Sunday during the 9:45 a.m. worship service. He joins his sister, Nora. Rowan was born on December 27, 2023. His grandparents are Robyn and Ronnie Conn of Alabaster and Alice and Kenneth Bullington of Alabaster.
